Aside from Aurora Dream, I’m grateful to have a personal music project under my own name, which allows me to explore different facets of my artistic identity. This project began when I realized that some of my musical ideas didn’t align with Aurora Dream’s vision, yet they still held value. Revisiting this material, I began blending various genres and styles, creating a unique musical landscape that reflects my broader influences and personal experiences. This solo endeavor has become a space for me to express more intimate aspects of my musical journey, allowing for greater spontaneity and creative freedom. It’s an evolving project where I can explore everything from intricate guitar work to minimalist compositions, without the need to adhere to specific genres or expectations. DUNNY TUNES is the first full-length album I released as a demo in 2020 under my own name as part of my solo music catalog. This project, entirely self-funded and managed by me, came to life during the COVID quarantine, allowing me to delve into unfinished ideas originally intended for Aurora Dream. Collaborating with musician friends from around the world, I recorded 36 songs, a mix of originals and covers, and released them weekly in an &#8220;episodic/seasonal&#8221; format inspired by old cartoons like Looney Tunes. Each season consisted of 4 episodes, or songs, making a total of 9 seasons covering the entire album. The music videos, with their nostalgic, 90s cartoon-inspired visuals, perfectly captured the album&#8217;s playful vibe. In 2023, DUNNY TUNES was remixed and remastered by Moises D’ Bello, enhancing its raw charm while adding polish. This re-release brought a renewed energy to the tracks, preserving their original spirit while refining the sound. The album stands as a testament to creativity born from isolation, offering comfort and entertainment during challenging times and reflecting the resilient spirit of those difficult days. The project&#8217;s intimate, &#8220;bedroom produced&#8221; aesthetic further emphasizes the personal connection and emotional depth embedded in each track.

&#8220;RUBIT&#8221; is a creative reimagining of Aurora Dream&#8217;s debut album &#8220;RUBIX,&#8221; released in 2023. This album takes the original tracks and transforms them into a nostalgic 8-bit experience, blending the worlds of music and retro gaming from classic franchises like Pokémon, Zelda, and others that shaped my childhood. Created in collaboration with Kevin Weaver, a well-known YouTuber and 8-bit music enthusiast, &#8220;RUBIT&#8221; maintains the essence of &#8220;RUBIX&#8221; while exploring new musical territories. This project is a heartfelt tribute to the video game music that has inspired me since I was young, combining my love for retro sounds with the modern, guitar-driven style of Aurora Dream. The album features nine tracks, each meticulously crafted to evoke the feel of classic video games while honoring the original compositions. By reimagining these tracks through an 8-bit lens, I aimed to create a unique fusion of past and present, where nostalgic melodies meet contemporary guitar techniques. &#8220;RUBIT&#8221; stands as a testament to my passion for innovation and the endless possibilities of creative expression, pushing the boundaries of what instrumental music can achieve.

This love for retro gaming led to the creation of &#8220;Parallel 8its,&#8221; a remix that transforms the original track into an 8-bit adventure. Collaborating with Kevin Weaver, a YouTuber and 8-bit music enthusiast, we crafted a version that captures the essence of vintage gaming while infusing it with my signature guitar work. &#8220;Parallel 8its&#8221; is more than just a remix; it’s a celebration of the sounds that inspired me during my formative years. The track, mixed and mastered by Moises D’ Bello, resonates with fans who appreciate the blend of modern and nostalgic elements, adding a unique and playful twist to the Aurora Dream catalog.
